I am a PhD candidate at the University of Michigan School of Information, where I conduct qualitative research examining the information practices and social support behaviors of vulnerable populations in the context of health and education organizations. I expect to graduate in May 2026.
My dissertation is titled “Navigating in the Margins: Information and Organizational Barriers to Mental Healthcare Access for Doctoral Students.”

Aside from research, I’m also a community organizer in Southeast Michigan. Most of my work in this area has focused on helping transgender folks learn about, and access gender affirming care. Check out my community page to learn more about the community-based work I’ve done as a doctoral student.
